Zee News :Japan law recognizes Bitcoin as Method of Payment

Japanese cabinet passed a set of bills recognizing virtual currencies like bitcoin to contain asset-like-values that can be used to make payments and be transferred digitally. Fundamentally, bitcoin and digital currencies are to be officially recognized alongside fiat currencies.
